exactly what I was thinking also...All of mine are gnarly looking and wilted,

They seem to stay colorful even after falling from the tree.

Our Oak leaves do too..but Oaks are far and few between up here
in the Great White North...

I was surprised when visiting Georgia for the first time, all the trees.....

There is an old plantation near the southern border of Georgia that
has the biggest Oaks I have ever seen...When I saw all your trees
that put the State of Georgia forever on my Fav list

Had to shot the leaves LOL even if I wanted to get to the acorns underneath I wouldn't. Believe in shooting stuff as is not moving to make a better shot

Been same as yours till a few minutes ago now clearing but very windy. Sunday and most of next week is supposed to be great if the weather folks are correct which they are seldom correct LOL
