Well, those previous sketches went thru a lot rethinking. From "checking out some Bani's proportions" and "some sort of forest creature" to "tender creatures that lives deep in magical forests, prefer to live in small groups near waterfalls. They don't wear clothes because they are really close to nature and can't even think about killing another living creature to make a clothes from it's skin (ewww, how barbaric!) So, to stay warm in cold nights, nature gave them long thick hair, fluffy tails and short fuzzy fur. Besides, they loves to cuddle and sleep alltogether in big warm body piles" :3

That was quite fun to paint! I experimented quite a bit with style. At first I wanted to make a "painterly" looking piece with all of this sloppy brushstrokes, but I carried away with rendering some details and ended up with mix of both sloppyness and tight details, I like it though. I hope you like it too!

(Man, those sketches looks so crappy now, holy moly, I wonder I should remove them from the gallery so people don't freak out looking at them?)
