I challenged myself to paint a pretty humanoid character for once.
I don`t think I have ever completed a digital painting of a woman`s face to be honest, I`m still getting used to drawing expressions and poses. Sorry if the art isn`t as good as the rest of my gallery, it`s hard to maintain quality when struggling with the anatomy. meh. Anyway I had this idea of a blind and partially burned fairy character who comes to the fountain once in a while to relieve her pains.

Oooh wow. This is really cool. The way you can see through her wings makes them look so fragile. I really like all the colours. They work together really well. The way the wings are sorta translucent works really nicely for it. Like there's a pretty big difference between the colour of her skin and the rocky wall and the water beside her, but her translucent wings take some of the colour of both and act like a bridge, blurring the difference.
I'm not sure if that made sense, but I'm not sure how to better explain it without being there in person ;v;
