Anouther pic from my art project and was used in my poetry anthology and used in my school's poetry magazine.A dark haired young man isolating himself as he reflects. Here is the poem I made. MS Paint
Where hope is lostβ¦
The town is dark with soot from the old factories.
Its townspeople are pale and ill looking.
They smile every day.
The church tower is broken.
The aged bell fell through to the cellar floor.
Sermons are held with a hole in the isle.
It snows black in the winter.
It rains gray daily.
A young man sells lemonade and lost hopes.
They think Iβm crazy.

.....It has that creepy feeling that a lot of pixel artists just can't attain. It reminds me of something from threadless.com.... too. I like the feeling -- and the cropping is just plain gorgeous. I'm so having to make background now.

Thank you. I was acctually surprised when i finished this pic bc i made the guy first and then added him to the background later. I originally had both as seperate pieces until my brain told me combine them. That bg is probably the only one ive made that i really like. I cant wait to see how your backgrounds come out ^_^

I like how natural the shirt looks- all the folds and shadows are exactly where they need to be.
