Description
Chat also convinced me to show them something secret. And I happened to have this keyframe animation of Arnick and Tetrox I made few nights ago at 4am. BEST time to animate, haha.People really liked it so hopefully I find time and motivation to finish this.

Hehehe! Funny how he just poofs away in the first attempt and gets creamed in the second.

I would love the heck out of this to see it fully animated.

Fun.
I'm thinking Tetrox wouldn't mind the prank so much if it weren't for the cigarette smoke.

And that is why you let girls do the gentle hug.

Impressively done Tammy, esp if you don't animate often. With a bit more work, this could easily be one of the greatest things you do for your work :3

I studied animation in collage. But I don't animate that much these days and this was done 4am. So yeah, I'd say it's pretty good those considered.

Agreed. If you consider animating on a more serious level, I can tell already you'll do really well and produce some wonderful things. Not to say your normal drawings aren't already amazing wonderful pieces, just that your animations would be too .3.

Ah yeah, they do tend to take quite a bit of time. Well, hope to see more in the future, you have great animations :3

Soft hug > sudden tackle/spear hug
I hope Arnick learns that lesson. lol

What would you suggest the easiest/best/most afforable animating software?Β i've dabbled in animation, but mine are put together in the most jurry-rigged way possible between non-animating purpose open source art programs.Β After a while it really wears on a person and I gave up on my bigger project.

This was done in photoshop CC which I can't really recommend for big animation projects.Β
I mean, this
Β is made in photoshop so it can do animation but only if you're insane like me and are just so used to photoshop.
I've been testing krita for animating and requires some set up to save animations and watching a tutorial to understand some things how they work but it definitely had a nice workflow.
This was done in krita
Bonus is that krita is free and I've seen some people do really nice animations with it.
Sadly that's my experiment with animation programs other than 3D software. I did try Flash a bit but that's gone now... I know Toon Boom and TV Paint are the professional ways to go but they are definitely not the cheapest options and I have no experience with them.

I'll have to look into Krita then, thanks!

This makes me realize I wish Bottled Up was an animated series.
The little details are amazing, like Arnick's eye popping expression.

I love animation even more than comics. If only it didn't take 100 times more time to animate, I'd make BUP an animated series, haha.
But I really hope to do more simple animating in the future.

That's totally understandable. And animated or not, BUP is still amazing!
Hopefully you get to do more of what you enjoy!
