See the finalists here:So, I need to find someone that would make a good rescue team with growlithe and I simply CAN'T CHOSE lol
If you could help me chose one it would be much appreciated XD
And if any one of you have suggestions of a better partner than the ones listed above then, please do tell

Im thinking between houndour, dratini or vulpix but vulpix lookes more feminine than the other two...

i would say from these either Houndour of Vulpix, but if i was chooseing it'd be Umbreon, the game i have (super old it for gamecube) i always make sure my main duo are always healthy but if im on a mission i do my best with the others, i just think that Umbreon would work, but idk its ur choice

thank you but this is for pmd explorer so only the looks and dynamics of the duo matters for me XD there will be no battles and good or bad types lol and getting umbreon would mean starting with eevee (because its a rule) and I dont want eevee

oh, but what if you found the umbreon and then you caught it! thats a soulotion and plus eevee is know to evolve very quickly if you take it with you everywhere and tend to very often but if you wanna choose form hese then i would say Houndour of Vulpix, like before X3

-_- no, this is for PMD explorer. It's different from anything you've ever played. You have to do missions to get stones and then evolve... anyways, everyone has eevees XD I don't want one too lol

I don't want to interfere with your opinion, but I think all of the ones that are not Fire-types are good choices. A well-rounded team is the best team. My advice is to get as many types covered as possible so you have the best chance of winning matches.

tis is not for a gameboy game, I know that a balanced team is better and even better are pokemon who have 2 types. But this is for PMD explorer so only the looks of the team is important and the stories they can make together. Hell, if this was my choices for a real pokemon team I'd lose all the time XD

Well, now that I know the story in depth, I suppose I agree with you. I wasn't thinking 'n stuff. But it's all clear now.

houndour.
really, houndour if male, vulpix if female if you still want another fire type.
if you want a more balanced team go for mareep or buizel i guess.
There are some good attack combos you can use with two fire types though. like using sunny day to boost fire type attacks, and houndour can learn solar beam (by tm I think) to take care of rock, ground, and water types. And growlithe can learn dig to handle other fire types.

I am totes up for the Cleffa, more unique, ya' know? xD I think it would be too typical to see another fire/four legged Pokemon to be paired up with Growlithe. Unique teams stand out a hecka lot! ;0; Originality is swueet. ;o;

Well, let's see...
Growlithe is a fire-type, and that means weakness to water, rock, and ground. A good team would be a balanced one, and I would probably go with a grass-type. If not, I would choose Dratini, as he/she could learn a variety of attacks.

Well depends, if you're growlithe and you choose vulpix, you will have 2 fire types.
If you choose buizel how will you fight water types?

haha I guess, but I can always add more pokemon.. You get 4 I think, so this problem could be solved. And most missions don't require fighting...
