from the environmental perspective i say 'yay' to recycling and donating to charity shops, but then that does make things less fun for those who partake in skip diving.

It doesn't detract from the skipdiving itself, it all is recycling in one form or another. It just gets me mad with all the cardboard and useful stuff that gets whizzed. Au Naturelle is a huge waster for this. We've found lampshades in bags priced at £30 each in there with nothing wrong with them and wooden screens and things with only minor scratches. Its just annoying that they have changed to 2 small skips instead of a big open top one that was easier to get in and rummage around in...
