Description The fanciest of my mail order/dealers table publications was this large portfolio. It had a full colour cover and a clear plastic overlay with the title. For the second printing I deleted the overlay but retained the colour cover. This was at a time when colour wasn't yet altogether cheap or common. I priced it at $15 from the start. The folio included a lengthy introduction to the material.

I've loved this piece and the other versions of it since I first saw them
Your artwork is awesome, you're obviously a very skilled artist. This piece actually inspired one of my own, which is currently in the works.
[link] I just wanted to share it with you, since I have a feeling that another browse of your gallery may inspire me some more

Thanks -- it was almost another world back then, when I put that collection together. My gallery over at FurAffinity is much larger than the one here, though.

I don't have an FA account, will I still be able to see your fantastic artwork?

Most of it. To see the adult material or to leave comments you'll have to join, but there's still a lot that I've posted you can access here:

Joining is at least as easy as DA, likely easier, and doesn't cost anything. You can be a member without posting, too.

This is definitely one of my favorite of your pieces. The color is beautiful and the subject is fascinating too. I love her pose, expression, outfit and setting, you did a lovely job here.

That was done in the days when colour fanart was a special event. Nobody could publish it and there was no internet. There was no digital colour either, so colouring was hard work. This was done with common colour pencils and took days to do. There was no pushing a key and telling the computer to "fill" an area, or a tool to create a fading sky. I kinda miss those days sometimes.

I know, I've seen it, believe me.

I have tracked you about as far as I can on the internet and have seen everything you have done on this and the furry site too.

I've 'googled' ya and looked you up on wikipedia, you're there too.

I really appreciate your style. I am not a big fan of fur and I don't know art, but I know what I like and I like the hell outta your art.

Your vehicles, gear and backgrounds kill me. They really do and I mean that in a good way.

And then you do something mind-blowingly cool in black and white and then color it and I am blown away again.

The toning you do with ball point pen is incredible as well but since I know that you are a model aircraft fan, I know the type (smile), I know when you say that you did something purely in ball point that I can't make my computer do that you meant it and are honest.

If I knew where a Hugo was I would break in and grab it and mail it to you. Honest. You deserve a few of them.

"If I knew where a Hugo was I would break in and grab it and mail it to you. Honest. You deserve a few of them."

Really? I can supply several addresses, one right here in Toronto.

Seriously, the odds are long. Fans like their simple punch-lines and goofy drawings, and don't have much of an eye for detail, style, or any kind of depth. They tend to shun a personal statement in art inverse proportion that they admire it in fanwriting.

Like you said, words are wasted on furry fans, smile.

Its a shame really. Your work is technically astounding and very pleasing.

The black and white version of this is astounding.

The color on even more so.

There's a simpler colour version to be viewed in the Nametags folder -- it was done at something like 3 by 5 inches. I did the 8.5 by 11 version so I could get more detail in the background, not to mention sell prints.
