Description
A short while ago Mike Glyer asked me to do a cover for his newszine, File 770. I showed him a few sketches, and he chose "The Client". The pencil original was posted to DA earlier. Starting with that and using Photoshop I worked this up to be reminiscent of old film noir detective movies and pulp magazines.Related content

"...He was flaunting his tie at me, like a trout leaping with Dr. Freud's fly line...."
I like your cover design, very enhanced by the grey tones.

A typical Dame in a private eye office.
Slinky, smooth, and often trouble. Expect a double cross and her boyfriend named "Knuckles" to show up later.

There's always a guerilla in these kind of stories.

A two-ton gorilla sent to keep the gumshoe from snooping too close, no doubt...
