Description
The first four verses of that poem I said I would illustrate!I changed the title from The Tower to The Lighthouse because I'm flaky like that. By the end of the month, I'll upload the whole thing and take this down. I'm planning for 17 pages total (this is 4.)
I even made a smackjeeves page for it. [link]
So I guess this means Shambles is on hiatus for a few weeks? I'm sorry. :^I
Does anyone know if this is in the right category?

Thank you! I used 246 gsm Strathmore acrylic paper. It's heavier than the paper I normally use, but I still like it.

'Twas my pleasure, the grain(if thats what you call it) of the paper is really nice.

Awesome work as always. I'm a big fan of illustrations which go along with poems/text, y'know.
As for the category, I'd say it really depends on the significance of the poem verses to the overall piece. While it is illustration, I think the verses are also a key part. Would you rather people view it as an illustrated poem or an illustration with poetry along with it?

You like illustrations with text? My god, I never would have guessed.
I think of it more as an illustrated poem. So I guess it's visual poetry?

I know, I'm so predictable...there's only sometimes that one odd submission without an accompanying line or two...
I think you should go with that. Because it really is a "visual" "poem"

I'm not an expert, but I think visual poetry is text that looks interesting because of where/how it's positioned, and found poetry is text that wasn't intended to be poetry but surprisingly has a poetic quality to it. This looks more like illustration.

Yeah, I think you're right about it not being visual or found poetry. But I think illustration is just the images?
I'm not sure, but thanks for the help.
