A picture taken by a cheap cellphone camera (Lame, right).They're supposed to be the first Kurans in history.
(I know that if we do some math we'd figure out this happened so long ago that it's kinda impossible for them to be wearing clothes like this...) But I think I refuse to draw them naked lol.

due to the chapter 52, sagakure has summary, i think maybe yuki had a past life too, and thats why kaname loves her so much. maybe they were the first XD idk thats just my prediction. and maybe her real body is behind the door in the manor

And yeah! I'm with a lot of expectations about the ancestor's past too... It makes me really curious...
I mean; I'm not expecting a detailed biography of him; but... At least, to know the "How it was back then" stuff, and how he looked like.
(If she leaves a lot of enigmas 'bout him, it would be such a good material for a parallel story... Like a "Ancient Times Chronicles" plot, or so... LOL.)

I didn't like the anime that much; I totally prefer the manga. The anime lacks of every brilliant aspect of design that Hino Matsuri brings into the characters with such a professionalism & charm...
Plus, the plot was cut off like That,,, and maaan, c'on... That sucks! The best part is just arriving right now...

yeh. Im way more of a the manga fan also. The anime even left characters out.. T_T like sara the pureblood...i have a feeling shes gonna play a big part in the manga soon.
i love Hino Matsuri-sama's art work, like her other mangas :Captive hearts, Maru puri, Wanted...ect. (but Vk is my absolute fav. ) so when i seen the anime art i was disapointed a bit...lol

Reminds of the Manga Red River,Which takes place some where in 2000 b.c. in the middle east and egypt.

The general Idea was to get a very related look from the current Kurans; so you could feel they haven't changed a bit in thousands of years & generations.
Same with colours; if you pay attention, you'll note that She Has Kaname's eyes colour and Yuuki's Hair colour, and the "old" Kaname, in viceversa.
And the clothes,,, Well, egyptians have a very special style; I'd say this looks more like macedonian, or antique greek style. (Even roman).

Lovely! Gorgeous picture. And don't worry about the time, in the manga when they talk about the "Ancestor" the buildings behind look georgian-ish, because VK is set in an alternate dimension.
Plus, it seems like Yuri went to school set in our time, and that was three thousand years ago, roughly.
