It sounds like he’s playing Mewtwo again for the first movie reboot coming to Netflix that’ll be pretty cool

yeah a CG remake as sort of a tribute/anniversary thing for the first movie

I am so torn whether to watch it I love the hand drawn style of the original and if it's just a cgi animation remake I don't know how to feel

I've already seen the subbed version. The first movie is better, I mean hand drawn still wins XD but I'd still say check it out actually. The remake feels like a love letter to the original and its shot for shot, if anything its a trip down memory lane

Ok when it comes onto netflix I'll give it a chance because really the original had such a hold on my childhood and Mewtwo will forever remain my favorite legendary

haha i could see them trying to lol which is such a round about message in pokemon, every single one of their movies opens with Ash in a pokemon battle

It was like something they were forced to do because parents in the 90s are crazy XD so maybe they won’t have to do it again now 20 years later but who knows, I mean at least it gave us one of Mewtwo’s best quotes
