Also don’t quote me on pokemon moves, all I know is Mewtwo’s shadow balls hit everyone and damage everything, I don’t think the anime always go by game logic

Mewtwo has always been a mystery to me. For years I had heard about him, but never any actual facts, like where he came form, whether he was a hero or villain, and so on.
It's aggravating how little I can find out about him.

A being with just enough mystery, power, and tragedy surrounding them to make them interesting, while also not having little enough information to work with in whatever way desired.

I think this might a start of a new pokemon species, but there is a question still remaining: how close are M1 Mewtwo and M16 Mewtwo related? Are they just clones, are they enough genetic difference that they can be classified as siblings or are they genetically diverse enough that allow them to have offspring without any inbreeding or birth defects.
Also does Professor Oak know about Ash has a Mew and Mewtwo living with him?
It would a chance of a life time for him to study most legendarily of legendary pokemon, only after months of observation and study to be disappointed to find out that Mew is just a playful pink cat with psychic powers and Mewtwo is also a cat with psychic powers, only bigger and more grumpier.
