I don't think mewtwo ever hatched out of an egg actually if taking the journal literally back then maybe mews actually give birth, and not lay eggs...I dunno I just assume Mews worked differently than other pokemon XD

its funny to think that mew is ancient XD but yeah, this Mew is pretty old, it could be centuries upon centuries old for all we know, Mewtwo is only a few months old, a year maybe, he's younger than Ash technically XD

more like Mew has been around long enough that it really doesn't have a care in the world, it's lived its whole life wild and free, one of the most powerful pokemon in existence, whereas Mewtwo was built to be a weapon and has been tortured and betrayed so he's pretty serious and suspicious, untrusting and angry
