“Feb. 6th - Mew gave birth. We named the newborn Mewtwo”
no this isn’t a joke, more like playing with a what-if idea where the story went with the old game journal entries where Mewtwo was actually stated as Mew’s offspring. What if he was born as a regular Mew but stolen by Team Rocket and experimented on and turned into what he is now. He has no idea and Mew probably wouldn’t tell him for fear of how he’d react

Everything he thought he knew about where he came from and how he came to be, how he assumed he had no real place in the world because of his origin is wrong, turned on it’s head, it would be pretty overwhelming

Remember, canonically, he outright attacked Mew on their first meeting. He may not take it well at realising he had literally been beating up his mother.
Of course, the other is that he may not take Mew not telling him she was his mother the entire time, even though she knew, very well.
Or both.
Of course, she better tell him sooner rather than later, or he may take it worse.

That's kinda my point. When it comes to these sorts of things, it only becomes more painful the longer you wait. Then again, you also don't wanna tell them too soon. It's hard to find that right moment.

Though not all Pokémon need partners to have babies, Kangaskhan are all female and still have babies so Mew just might be one of those cases who knows
