Description

Three months after Bianca attempted to discredit her stepmother, she was still locked away in the nursery. Rosemary had been given the task of overseeing her stepdaughter's punishment. She took this job quite seriously and treated Bianca like a naughty little child. Bianca wasn't allowed to leave the nursery or have contact with anything even remotely grown up. She felt completely trapped. She tried to think of ways to get out of the nursery, but her father had made sure there was no escape.

She was also bored out of her mind. She couldn't even take a walk outside without being escorted and even then they never left the garden. Her meals were brought to her and left just inside her room, the servants always leaving before she could so much as say hello. She had no contact with the outside world besides this and visits from Rosemary and after a few weeks these became fairly infrequent.

When she found herself talking to her stuffed animals as if they were real people she knew she was losing it, but she was a social person, she needed someone to talk to, even if they were never going to talk back. She tried to keep her conversations to herself, but she needed to speak to someone. After a while she quit bothering to hide her little chit chats with Barbie or Mr. Bear. In time they were elevated from simply being conversational companions to being playmates. Having nothing else to occupy her time they formed the audience when she read aloud from her childish books and attendees when she threw her little tea parties.

She was just waking up one morning when she heard a noise. Looking over she saw that it was the door and that it was Rosemary. Her stepmother had an amused look on her face and it took a moment for Bianca to realize what she found so interesting. At some point she had started to suck her thumb again and Rosemary had just recorded it on her cell phone. Bianca blushed a deep crimson. Her stepmother couldn't help but laugh. Infuriated by this, Bianca jumped from her bed and charged at the woman intent on grabbing the phone and erasing the embarrassing photos she had taken.

Unfortunately, she had failed to pick up her toys the night before and tripped over a stuffed unicorn and comically tumbled to the ground. Rosemary captured this undignified display as well. Bianca begged her stepmother not to show these photos to anyone, she would never get out of there if she did. To this Rosemary informed her that she had better just get used to her situation then, as she wasn't going anywhere soon. Furious, Bianca threw a major tantrum, not even Mr. Bear could console her.
