Description
So I've been playing TF2 a lot recently, and I got the crazy idea to render Tasha as a more feminine version of my primary classes. So here's the first one, the Engineer. (and yes, those who know the comic "Nerf Now" will recognize some of the elements from Engy-tan here on Tasha, tho I altered to suit).Engineer is my favorite class in the game. My aim isn't the best with precision weapons, so letting something else (a sentry gun) handle the main fire works out beautifully.
But Engies have a problem....

TF2 and related elements (C) Valve
Lessons Learned - This entire series was done without Valve's reference models, so I know things like the sentry gun are off model. That helmet was a real bear to get just right. Her gloved hand looks a little funky, tho I left it cause it looks like the heavy glove it is.

Nothing "wrong" with it at all. I play Engineer a lot. Tho oddly, since I made these posts I actually play Soldier a lot more.

My latency doesn't do melee well. I find it easier to keep at range and use the rocket launcher a lot.

The sound they make gives me the giggles too. Tho A Demoman with the chargin' Targe and a frying pan is just hysterical, especially if they're GOOD.

Ver \y cute. I must say that you really have a a delightful composition.
No, really. I do mean that. This image in particular has all sorts of things going for it - you have multiple objects to look at, plenty of curves (on Tasha and elsewhere :3 )... I could go on and on.
You have improved -vastly- in the time you have been drawing - I can say that without a doubt after seeing some of your older work.

That's the point of art, to grow and learn. If I stayed the same as I did way back when, why bother drawing at all? Thank you for the kind words.

And the outfit seems to be a perfect fit as well. ^_^

TF2 = Team Fortress 2. It's a team based versus game from Valve.

Every time I see TF2 game art, I regret the weakness of my computer. I DO have TF Classic, but I haven't really run it yet. Someone gave me all the old stuff as a gift on Steam when they bought the latest box.

The great thing about TF2 is that the out-of-game art is exactly the same as the in-game art. Other games show clear, vivid characters on the box, and little pixel blobs in the games.

Aye, the old TFC had a much different feel from TF2. TF2 went more stylized and has a broad wink to the audience in that they know this whole thing is silly, but they're out their blowing each other up anyway. Not like they won't respawn in a few moments anyway (depending on sever respawn timers).

We used to have lots of fun at Palm playing the original Half-life death match during lunch and after work. That was 2001!
I even tried to get into level design.
Unfortunately, I'm currently running a 1.8 GHz Atholon (That's single core), and I was lucky to get Portal to run on it. It's almost impossible to find AGP slot video cards - I was lucky to get one that worked with SL. (Well, kinda lucky, since I don't spend much time there.)

Yeah, AGP has been fazed out completely (One of the reasons I went PCI with my new computer). So I know all about that.

NEVER screw with someone with a sentry gun. That's a lesson many, many people have learned while going against me in TF2. I only have three main classes: Happy Engie, irritated Pyro and really, REALLY pissed off Demoman.

You don't have to be a good Demo. You just have to be able to spam your ammo as much as you freaking can.

TF2 = Team Fortress 2. released by Valve as part of the "orange Box" with Halflife 2 episode 2 and Portal (which if you haven't played Portal you are really denying yourself one of the great pleasures of gaming. And the fact it's no free via Steam means you have NO EXCUSE!!)

Engi is my fav class too, but for another reason than just the "auto aiming sentry", i have some kind of mad fun placing sentryes in weird places and look at people coming and not expecting it for example in the middle of a tight corridor in a CTF match
