And here's the second examiner with his baby... because in my personal AU Hayate is still alive and well and procreating. Sequentially, as it were.While I love the scene I tried to portray, I hate the way it turned out with a fiery passion. It seems I'm losing my touch if I ever had it, but I refused to let a drawing unfinished just because I didn't manage to do it properly. I hope the next one turns out better.
I adore Hayate, but it really seems as if I can't draw him worth a damn. *sigh*

Really, I don't see the fiery passion, I just see a nice warm fluffy sunny afternoon
And the fact that you see it means that your eyes are just growing better toward your own personal style and liking and you're learning more about your own personal touches.
And if you really think you could've done better, then this just means that you're setting another goal for yourself and putting the bar a little higher
I personally think it's wonderful and an adorable scene! Definitely a fav!

He looks so great as a daddy. i absolutely love how you have the baby asleep on hi chest and the vest covering them. the whole thing is awesome. would blue coloring instead of red lesson the passion. i don't really know. i'm not good at drawing myself but blue just popped into my head. oh well. it looks great like it is. keep up the good work.

Very nice work...the coloring is beautiful. Makes it look like the sun is setting through the window or something...very sweet! Hayate looks so handsome and fatherly here too, I agree! he's probably just keeping a low profile out there, somewhere...

Okay, I have to say that the baby scares me. But his/her/its little fist is very cute and well done. Hayate's expression is so sweet. O__o and, despite his sickly appearance....he's....verry.... muscular 
And if you're not satisfied with how you draw him, that means you should draw him more often. *snerk* (< --actually, that's just a reason for me to see more of Hayate in your gorgeous fanart style.)

I like the sleeping in his coffin part. Is he the first vampire Jounin, mayhap? Hah! That wouldn't even contradict canon! Very good.
Anyway, I'll definitely draw him more often. I might want to do naughty things to Genma, but I wouldn't toss Hayate out of bed for eating crackers either. Not even his coughing vampire self.

On close observations the baby looks a bit too small... but what the heck, I can't draw this calibre of picture. Great work! Really nice and peaceful.

Strangely enough, very little babies are still incredibly small. I looked at a few photos for reference and it was really amazin how tiny they were in comparison to adults, especially men.
