Eric is unconcious and fighting his inner demons in a dream, while Tenna watches worriedly over him. It's at this point that Tenna comes in terms that she does have feelings for Eric and now just wishes he somehow makes it through.
She kinda blames herself too because before hand, Tenna would not let Eric fight, because he wasn't telling them (Tenna and Devi) that he was worried about the gauntlet and the effect it could have on him. Tenna snaps at Eric and tells him that he does not trust his friends, they can't trust him to fight along side them.
This becomes a worse mistake as Eric gets injured badly in bat form before being possessed by the gauntlet.
