I think that the moonlit aura effect on the castle can extend down to the foreground on the kids a bit. Also, if you're using Photoshop, I like make a new layer set to Screen Layer Effect for my rim lighting. Here's an excessive example [link] I used a medium toned orange color set to screen, which made into a type of nuclear superglo orange Using sparingly, it helped me create back lighting--but you can use this for your moon and castle shine as well~

Wait, did I say sparingly? Hah! I'm the poster boy for excessive rim shine(tm)
