Description ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
UPDATE 4/27/09 6:09pm

What's new:
- I've made a new skin called Multimeter RSS-extended
- It has 10 lines instead of 7 and 5 tabs instead of 4
- Check it out here:Multimeter RSS-extended
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

UPDATE 3/30/09 12:52pm

What's new:
- I've added another RSS "tab"
- I'm currently working on parsing the favicons from the RSS feeds instead of using a downloaded image. Once I figure it out, I'll post another update!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Multiple RSS feeds in one skin.

- When you click the favicon of the website, the RSS feed switches and the background highlight changes to that favicon

- When you click the "X" everything except for the favicons disappear. This is so that when your laptop isn't connected to the interwebs, you don't have an ugly, empty RSS feed sitting on your desktop.

It was pretty simple to code, but it cuts down tremendously on the desktop clutter.

Credit to projectVirus for the great background and Kaelri for the RSS code

Thanks, I'm glad you like it

To make more lines yourself would be pretty complicated (unless you're good at coding). But, I just finished making a meter with 12 lines instead of 7. I don't have time to upload it now, but it should be up by tonight.

As far as adding that link to the meter, all you have to do is right-click the meter, go to "Skin menu" -> "Edit Skin." Then change one of the URL's to any RSS feed.

Hope that helps,
tjmarkam3

@clubikimakuri:
haha, no problem.
You're actually the one who got me positing stuff on this site only three weeks ago, and now I've got hundreds of downloads on my work.

@ painkilla05:
I had been looking for something like this for a while too and since I couldn't find one, I just threw one together

By the way, congrats on your lifehacker feature! Your desktop is one of the more original I've seen in a while.
