I quite frankly perfer using the "preserve transparency" over the lasso kuz then you don't have those annoying little dotted lines floating around everywhere distorting your view.

It all seems like pretty basic tool use to me. Nothing in here that couldn't be learned through simple trial and error. As ~-kron said, it could be a much better tutorial. Nothing new.

I never even knew there was a "burn" tool. O_o I guess I'm not very observant... Oh well, great tutorial.

wow... its called the dodge tool... and why in hell do you use the lasso? and why not pick your color from the pallete or something? this is not a very good tut... i thought it would be better not so vague...

nice.. but what I'd had needed is an easy way to vectorize lieart is cool but it messes up the details when you over-fill some area... and when you adjust the image size...
do YOU use vectorized lineart?

A completely new concept on how to color O.o. I use the fill tool and color in the area I want colored, then do the same with the rest basically. VERY nice alternative. I might have to try this. I like the shiny ^_^

only thing I would've changed I think would be the pic in step six. as it is now it's like it's going from well contrasted to lowering of it.
I think other than that it's a simple tut about coloring that makes it easy to understand the basics about the tools you can use.
+plus it's really stylish too
good work
