This artwork was long overdue. Thanks to me being me, it was lying in my stash with so many other things. Gathered the courage to finally color and shade it today.

Felt like drawing yet another videogame-like scene, and now, I'm pitting DMB against his mentor/icon: Alex Mercer himself! I was inspired to do this after me and a friend of mine discussed a possible Prototype 2 rp 1-2 years ago.

Not only was this scene inspired by the Prototype games, but also Dark Souls (Specifically Dark Souls 3). The final boss fight "Soul of Cinder" and it's theme were to blame www.youtube.com/watch?v=Io0zFb…
I even tried to mix the HUD of both games, putting Mercer's on the bottom like the usual Souls' series bosses but keeping his original health bar design. As for DMB's health/special/rage bar, I kinda took some inspiration from God of War (2018), while also using the Prototype healthbar standard
