The years went by and Allanar (the elven kingdom) enjoyed a watchful peace. Prince Erúadan spent most of his time training with swords and other fighting tactics.

The sunlight glittered over the Geglion River as the afternoon passed. The air was considerably warmer in the mountains, and the birds sang happily. Prince Calanon was teaching his younger brother to use bow and arrow. They had been training since early that day.

"Do not divert your eyes from the target." , said Calanon

"What?" Erúadan asked turning to his brother, bow and arrow still armed in his hands as he stared at him.

Calanon quickly ducked, fearing that his younger brother accidentally shot the arrow. "Do you think you'd have time to stop and ask questions with an orc coming toward you?" He asked sharply.

"No, but you're not an orc." the boy replied and, looking at his older brother closely, he murmured faking a thoughtful expression. "Hmm .. well ..."

Judging from Calanon's tone and the look on his face, he was not amused.

"Now concentrate!"

Erúadan raised his bow and pointed to the target. Then he shot, but he let out a sigh of displeasure when he saw the result. The arrow fell on the ground, at the foot of the stand where the target was.

Calanon looked at him and shook his head.

"I was staring at the orc's feet," said the boy, and then raised his finger, pretending to look more serious and imitate his brother. "Disabling your attacker is as effective as killing him in a critical situation. You taught me that yourself."

Calanon aimed at the target. "Try again. Focus."

Erúadan let out a sigh and did as his brother ordered. He pointed the arrow and took a deep breath.

"Relax your shoulders. Watch your finger." Calanon warned.

The arrow flew and this time hit the target, but far from the center which left the boy unsatisfied. "I give up for today!" Erúadan dropped her bow to the floor and crossed his arms looking at his brother. "I'll never be as good as you and our father."

Calanon ran a hand through his brother's hair. "Actually I think you will be better than both of us together."

"You think so?"

"You just have to learn and practice more, just that. "

The bow is bigger than him ... lol
I will try not to put too many details in this story and not to stick to the order of events.

They are both half-elves.
Maybe I try to make a character sheet for Erúadan as I did for Athdar. Maayybe.

Calanon pronounces (Kahl-ah-non)
Erúadan pronounces ( Air-oo-ah-dahn )

The names are based on and / or inspired by Tolkien's Sindarin and / or Quenya.
