Complete name: Phrixus jela

1.- I bought him at some sort of butcher/tacos shop, his first name was Eugenio, yes, I like to name my things so stfu, as you can see it had a bit of flesh, I think they had it warm for about a week, you can imagine the awful smell he had, damn goats.

2.- Myself boiling him in water with bleach, I revised all the techniques for cleansing bones and some of them said that I should avoid bleach because it has some bad effect on the bones in the future but I really wanted to do it quickly.

3.- Braiiiiiiiiiiinssssssssss removal very egyptian technique.

4.- *blacklady666 and myself went to a flea market and at the end we saw those gorgeous horns for sale and I got them but I didn't knew I was going to use them with Eugenio, in that picture he had 3 weeks old and Samira (pending pictures from her session to be uploaded) fell in love with him but I decided to use those horns and I started making adaptations.

5. -it was a test about how he was going to look but I decided to change the horns direction.

6. -Epoxic plaster rules! I made a similar pattern of the horn into the skull to make it even.

7. -after sanded it, I painted it with acrylics and I liked the result.

8.- BLOODBATH! nah not really, I was going to use my own blood but I decided not to because it would fade with time or become brownish, so I bought alcohol ink for wood, vivid red and black and started painting it, I think it has 6 hands of ink as you can see the horns has black in the tips and in the begining, I was feeling fear because the red was turning into pink .

9.- I applied a layer of laque, brownish laque to give it more strenght in the color but I screamed when the laque layer was dry, it was awesome, it looked as it was pouring blood from everywhere!

And in time was like:

Boiling and cleansing 1 day
Waiting to dry and see if nothing bad happened 3 weeks
Mounting 1 day
Painting 1 day

And that's how he was born, I will try to make a couple more skulls in the future.

I must say that this is my first artisan experience and I FUCKING LOVED IT!
