Description
The people had so scarred the land, that it had no choice but to send out its tendrils, to reap the malignant crop of humans before they had chance to corrupt what little pure crop had remained...I finaly got my comp working again, so yeays, anyway, this is a small fractal I made for your viewing pleasure. Made in Apo2.07beta. Tell me what ya think! Oh yeah, you should look at it full sized, click download if ya wanna.
btw if you have ever played Final Fantasy XII, let me ask ya, does it look like the mist? I kinda think it does, but meh, I could be wrong.

This looks cool! Id say it looks more like a snail shell or some prehistoric shell.. + gears.. lol.. only thing I'd say is i'd like to see it more solid, other then that the fractal is pretty slick

Thank you for the feedback I can deffinately see it as a shell of some sort, although, what do you mean "more solid"? Just filled out more?
Sorry I am just getting started with fractals, and any advice would be appreciated.

One technique I use is rendering with an invisible background then opening up the .png in Photoshop.. I duplicate the layer anywhere from 3-4 times then "merge down" starting with the top layer.. This will give you a lot thicker appearing image. If you rasterize or flatten them you lose your depth.. so if you go with this technique remember merge down

3+ time sorry.. I've duplicated layers up to 8 times in some of my work lol.. also play around with your brightness / contrast settings.. try jumping your contrast up to around +25 and you can see you get a slightly more vibrant image..

Oh wow, that is quite a lot of experience. I am planning on getting my new copy of photoshop this coming fall with my school funding, and I think that will really help me get my artwork off the ground a little better.
