Well, when i just made this sketch i was trying to draw exactly character, but not the actor. So i was not chasing much for portrying Emmerson.
But I think i`ve got in the end nice 50/50 of imagination and actual portrite)

Yes, I know exactly what you mean about not shooting for an exact portrait of the actor but rather an illustration of the spirit of the character. Truthfully, I find straight up, technically perfect portraits kind of boring. It's pictures like yours, which really capture the feel of a character, that draw me in.

So yes, good job!
