Description
Name: Stranger in moscowNickname: Moscow, or mothy.
Breed: NSH (National Show horse, saddlebred X Arab)
Gender: Stallion
Age: 5
Height: 16hh
Disciplines: Saddeseat, pleasurehack, gaited, halter.
Personality: Moth is a sweet natured stallion, who is proud in a regal and humble kind of way. Naturaly curious about newcomers he isnt agressive towards them, assertive yes but not agressive. He likes wet weather and adores rolling in mud, much to our staff's dismay, we assume this is because the aftermath is a thorough grooming, and I guess he likes that kind of fussing over and pamering a good grooming can bring. Bit of a charmer with people, sweet-talking them over to his stall and searhes for treats, definately not a biter, just hangs out in hope for a slice of apple or a friendly pat.
History: We found his add posted in the noticeboards of the coffee room at one of the shows we went to watch at.
His picture was faded and the number barely readable, we grabbed it and dialed the name during the break. Turns out the horse was there at the halter section, so we walked down to take a look. The faded photo did no justice to the beauty we saw right in front of us.
He was charming with a faded blue grey coat, like a moth, originally his barn name was Moscow, as per his show name. But after falling in love with him and arranging purchase, the name moth kind of stuck.
He seemed tall, but most of it was in his legs, the other NSH types towered over him, but it didnt seem to phase him at all, quietly standing there glowing with his own inner pride.
He was originally bred between the owner's two horses an Arab mare and saddlebred stallion for thier daughter, but sadly she grew out of liking horses and went into dogs instead, she now breeds datshunds. They were at a loss of what to do with him and were glad we wanted the wee man, he was being halter shown that day to help gather interest.
We are so glad we went that day!
