This is REALLY awesome! I can hardly begin to tell you how much I loved Story of the Blanks... but I really loved Story of the Blanks.
It's REALLY exciting to see it in comic form! And you're drawing adaptation is friggin' sweet!

Haha, "no such thing as ghosts." Of course, her being "magic scientist", it's soo in character for her.
Yeah, writing is cool, graphically... Ouch. I know effect of unicorn magic is hard to reproduce, but, ouch. It looks bad, especially compared to what you've managed to do earlier (I'm talking mostly about fourth panel, these stars look... not magical). I think you would've done better with creating your own effect, rather trying to copy the one from the show (which is just hard without using vector graphics...).
Also, last panel could've used some action lines, or more dynamic. composition. You know, to suggest this tree was THROWN, rather than is just floating over the treetops.

the magic cant be helped. im using Corel Painter sketch pad, and im limited to what i can do. its a basic program, even more basic the SAI or GIMP or what ever others us. when i can figure out a better way of portraying the magic ill change it, maybe. this page gave me a lot of trouble by deleting itself and glitching. so for now, this will have to do.

You know what's funny? I'm in similar situation. You see, I'm used to GIMP, but it refused to work lately... so I'm limited to using MyPaint (which is basically free Corel Painter SP). So I know this pain.

i at least tried. im still learning new techniques with this as i go along. i will say that this novel will be the last set of art tom be done in Corel painter Sketch Pad. the next set of novels and other art pieces will be done in Corel Painter 12.
