Enhanced Senses - Visual acuity equal to an eagle at all times. When actively using her powers she has the ability to zoom in approximately 500 times.
Enhanced Senses – Hearing, Smell, and Taste. These senses are at or just above the normal range of human senses.
Enhanced Senses – Mystical sensitivity. She can sense mystical and magical forces and events to various degrees. Detailed information is relayed to her via her spirit guide, the Thunderbird Spirit. The information imparted is often cryptic, to say the least.

Environmental Resistance – When actively using her powers, she is immune to naturally occurring extremes of cold, heat, or altitude. This ability reaches to the edge of the Earth’s atmosphere but not beyond it. She cannot fly or survive in space unassisted.

Accelerated Healing – She heals at approximately three times the normal rate. She is immune to naturally occurring poisons and pathogens. *Since joining with the Thunderbird Spirit, her body appears to be 20 years younger. She ages at approximately one third the normal rate.*

Wings – She can manifest wings made of pure mystical energy. Their exact size and shape is variable. Besides granting her the power of flight, they can be used for attacks and defense. The edges of the wings can cut through armor plate and hurt invulnerable beings/creatures. If the target’s invulnerability comes from magical sources it is most resistant. Organic invulnerability provides less protection. The wings have been used by her to block projectile and energy weapons.

Weather Control – She can manipulate weather patterns in the local area. The area of effect depends on the amount of time and concentration she can put into the effort.

Lightning control – Thunderbird can summon and direct lightning. She is immune to its effects. She can absorb lightning and store it for use later. She is highly resistant to electrical based attacks.

Spiritual Guide – Elizabeth’s consciousness has been linked to the Thunderbird Spirit. The ancient Native American spirit serves as a mentor, companion, guide, and trainer. The force of the Spirit’s psychic bond provides enhanced resistance to mind control and psychic attacks.

Background: Elizabeth was born a member of the Chiricahua Apache tribe. She grew upon the tribe’s Arizona reservation before joining the Air Force. She applied to and was accepted into the Special Forces branch as a para-rescueman. She served with distinction in the European and Middle Eastern campaigns. After four terms of enlistment she left the service and went to work for the Drug Enforcement Agency in her home state of Arizona. She served for several years and became a highly decorated agent. Unfortunately, she was betrayed by a corrupt agent who was on the payroll of the drug cartels. He led her into an ambush in the desert where she was shot and left for dead. She crawled through the desert for two days and nights before she was found by one of her tribe’s shamans. He gathered other shamans and medicine men to perform a healing ritual to try to save her life. During the ritual the medicine men managed to summon the Great Thunderbird Spirit. The Spirit offered to save her life if she agreed to be its avatar in the fight against evil. She agreed and the heroine Thunderbird was born. Leaving the DEA, she joined the National Security Enforcement Agency. The NSEA was a law enforcement agency that had a large number of super-powered or meta-human operatives. Teaming with the heroine Mako, she was assigned to the Angel Falls region under the command of Regional Director Yumiko Park. She has been ordered to join the new superhero group suggested by Lone Stranger and Stranger Industries. She is to act as a liaison between the group and federal authorities.
