Edited!! I think I fixed her face...sort of. It still doesn't look like the actress because I fail at drawing real people but at least I think I like her face better in general....Fanart for Game of Thrones/Song of Ice and Fire featuring Daenerys Targaryen. I don't really now where this piece came from, but uh.... here! Lol. Original design idea came from my unfinished Esmiel piece here: [link]
I needed a piece to submit for my final project and I needed a new print for Fanime so this kind of happened. It didn't turn out quite like I wanted. I hadn't intended to paint Daenerys but it just sort of happened and unfortunately I think it looks less like her than if I went with a lineart but oh well. Too tired to do it all again. Hopefully fans will get the idea.
As usual the BG is crap. Didn't do a great job coloring the sigil/seal whatever in the BG but hopefully the mistakes don't show on the print lol. And the borders...well they're kind of an afterthought. I really had no idea what I was doing (story of my life)....

Aww thanks! I can't take credit for the dragons though. That's the actual symbol for the Targaryen House. I just tried to recreate it to fit my piece. I'm glad half of it is hidden behind her so you can't see the crappy re-creation. Haha.
