Amazing.
People raging over other people who don't have the right "requirements" to match a certain Cosplay yet it's those who despite that had the guts to pull it off while the haters just pull the strings of a few words and never did a cosplay themselves.
A couple of years ago a newsreport showed off some cosplays and there was that one woman who has a problem with her legs, she isn't able to walk, in a wheelchair /and/ carrying a bit more weight than what one may call "average" yet she pulled off a cosplay and was seen a few times flipping a bird, probably at those who pulled a joke at her.
And I salute her. Cosplay is and should be for everyone no matter what.
I wear glasses, this might limit me to glasses wearing characters only one may say, I say, get me a pair of contact lenses during cosplay and I can extend my character choices by more than twice.

It's kinda bad for short skinny guys, too. I might be able to pull of Dr. Tachyon, but people will think I'm the lovechild of the Sixth Doctor and Red Mage raised by a pimp.

Don't anime fans get teased enough by outsiders who hate anime? Why we should we criticize our own group just because someone doesn't totally fit the character description? Fat/Thin cosplaying is just fun

I don't hate cosplays, but people don't seem to realize you need a certain body for most... as for pokemon cosplays... made a hat or what not, but that's enough

Yeah, there's not really a middle ground for cosplay. Some people did an incredible job and really looked the part, everyone else inspired this image.
