this is a 1:35 scale plastic model using parts from Tamiya, Revell, and Trumpeter models. it depicts a vehicle from my fictional comic storyverse.

"The design of the ON-89 Av2 was spurred by early-war failures of the Imperial Armored Design Korps (ADK) to design a reliable and all-around vehicle capable of filling out the ranks of the Imperium's Armored Rejments. The preceding designs, the ON-56 and ON-43, were relatively abysmal attempts to produce a comprehensive fighting vehicle.

The ON-89, by comparison, has become one of the most commonplace and reliable tanks of the war. Two generations of improvements later, and the '89 is a familiar sight on the battlefield, much to the chagrin of Republican commanders.

Mounting a 107mm high-velocity cannon with a coaxial 7.7mm machinegun, along with a deck-mounted .52 machinegun, the ON-89 Av2 is a well-armed and armored beast of a tank.

The 'Av2' overhaul introduced a number of novel features, such as the prominent Kohker primary gun sight, an active night-vision system for the driver ('Maugen NV'), and blow-out panels for the internal ammo storage rack."
