I see you read the purchase invoices. π
Thereβs a whole story just on the invoices, I wasnβt sure anyone was reading them.
But thatβs just my speculated history for Percy.

In my headcanon, they didnβt scrap Percy they just restored him and sold him for a profit. They didnβt use Avonside parts, they used second hand Hunslet parts because Robertson Industrial is a shifty business dodgily restoring engines and building shoddy engines (They built Henry, hence his poor design)

Ooh, well in that case it is a miracle that Percy didn't malfunction like Henry did.

I guess he was properly restored at the Sodor Railway Works, thats how the engineers there knew he was made from Avonside and Hunslet parts.
