So, I got my NECA PredAlien in the post today, wasn't sure if I'd get open or closed mandibles as it was random. Was kind of cool to get the open ones, though I'd have preferred the closed mandibles as I plan on trying to put the open mandible PredAlien and open mandible Wolf in a bit of a scene, just like my Scar and Grid. But anyway!

The detail, which isn't reflected so much in the picture, is absolutely stunning. Better even than McFarlene's original series of figures for the first AvP movie. Can even see the 'humanoid' skull beneath the translucent dome at the front of it's head.

Articulation is pretty good, though like the original ones they can be somewhat limited. The PredAlien moves at the wrists, upper arms, thighs, with ball joints at the shoulders and base of the head. The jaw can open quite a way too but the inner jaw doesn't come out. The tail is bendable all the way round like usual, but again it's slightly better than the original McFarlene figures. Unfortunately, no bending at the knees, something the AvPR Alien Warrior does have, thankfully.

It's a really sweet figure and can't wait to get the others.
