When a Primal hosts a party, the whole Aethersky hears about it.

The buzz of gossip, the excitement in the air - the rumors hum across the pearls. But not this time.

This time the news comes in whispers. Small and delicate envelopes are sent across cities, across whole Pearls - each and every one of them addressed to a particular Bean. They are lovingly hand-delivered by the diligent but devious aetherlings of Darkling: also known as Svazka, Void Primal of trickery and thieves.

Each letter reads the same, with elegant text inviting the recipient to a newly created festival called "Beansong" - perhaps a mockery of the Lifesong, the third month of the year. But the party seems quite legitimate, complete with promises of colorful confetti, delicious food, and all the games one could imagine. All the beans have to do is follow their void guides to Darkling's personal pearl, aptly named, "Where the Sun Don't Shine."

Naturally, the other Primals are quite suspicious.

Svazka has "poached" Beans created by the other Primals before, raising them as his own - the most notable example being one of Exitius's vile brood.

But of course no invitations have been sent to the Primals, as if many of them could even stand to be assembled in the same place. Instead, the Primals call upon their aetherlings to respond to these rumors and attempt to prevent what might be the beginning of a universe-scale beanknapping.

The party is "officially open to all Aetherlings, big and small, to celebrate our new batch of Beans"...will yours accept the invitation?

Quest 1: The Bonanza Begins (For Both Beans and Aetherlings)

Depict or describe your aetherling attending the party in response to their Primal's* orders. You can show them spying, taking notes, or just goofing off! If Svazka is your primal, depict them helping run the festivities on Darkling's requeset - such as decorating or manning a carnival-style game. If you're playing a bean, feel free to portray them enjoying the party as a guest of honor!

Quest 2: Get Dunked On (For Both Beans and Aetherlings)

Near the end of the party, a special game is arranged. Two Aetherlings of Svazka's have been tied together and placed in a dunk tank. Both wear shirts saying "I'm with stupid." Despite this, both seem amused by the situation and are egging each other and onlookers on.

Prominently displayed is a large, colorful target board painted with many arrows and the words "DUNK! DUNK! DUNK!" drawn all around it. On a table nearby is a hefty ball - made of crystal...? Dare you to dunk?

Depict your Aetherling/Bean participating to claim the final prize! (You need not include the NPCs unless you prefer to!)

*The prize for completing the Speature Event is unique to Speatures and includes a customizable new character trait!

About Pest (Left image):
Essence of Pestilence. Svazka's proclaimed "firstborn child", which is clearly not true. Rumor has that when he was a bean, he was kidnapped as a prank against another primal. He's snarky, sarcastic, and quick-witted, but he never means any harm. Obsessed with fuzzlies and socks.
About Karl (Right image):
Essence of Pride. Haughty, vain, and harsh to just about everyone, it's no wonder that Karl doesn't have any friends. Because he takes everything way too seriously and thinks so highly of himself, Pest can't resist every possible chance to tease him. Karl dislikes small and cute things, and if anyone gets in his way, he's eager to pick fights.

Rules

Participation is limited to those already possessing an approved Aetherion character of the Aetherling species only.

The event ends at 11:59PM CST on April 4th, 2020.

Collaboration between aetherlings with other players, or with one of the NPCs shown in the banner, is encouraged and will reward a bonus prize! You may also include more than one of your own aetherlings for the prize. Submission requirements would increase for the bonus prize as outlined in the Submission Guidelines!

The submission guidelines for these Quests is the same as for Adventure Quests.

You do NOT need to have a Herald Profile to complete these quests; only a Player and Character Scroll. Register for those here!

If you have a MYO Aetherling that is not submitted yet, or an uncompleted custom from the new sale, you are free to still complete these quests via writing! Otherwise you must have your design approved before completing an art prompt.

Include your character's name and the quest title in your submission. Submit your quests to the "Event Submissions" folder in The-Aetherion 's gallery!
