Description
The events in this part are right after Sorbet's attack. Team Hustler's base managed to survive his attack and they didn't go to the castle.

“How’s he?”
A voice asked quietly, stirring him awake. Pain was the first thing he registered. Blinding, hot pain. He groaned.
“Not so good.” This voice was much closer and sounded younger that the first one. The fire type opened his eyes to a blurred world. He blinked, trying to bring the world back into focus. “Oh, he’s waking up!”
“Ugh, not so loud.” Arceus, what happened to his voice?
He was in a cave, big enough for a few pokemons to live in and not big enough to be littered with zubats. A bag lied against one of the rocky walls and he could see some berries and what could only be described as junk all over the cave’s floor. There was an opening that seemed to lead to another ‘room’ in one of the walls.
“Sorry.” He turned his eyes in the direction he thought the voice was coming from and saw a darumaka staring back at him with bright blue eyes.
A darumaka? He didn’t know any darumaka. Where was he? And why did everything hurt so damn much?
“We found you in the forest.” He said, sitting closer to him. “Chibi brought you here, you looked pretty bad.” Who? The forest? Why was he in the forest? Wh-
“Sorbet!” Cass jumped, regretting it as soon as he did as a sharp pain shot through his sides. “Ugh.”
“Bad move, man.” The first voice said and he looked up. A big purple deino stared back at him…. Or so he guessed, he couldn’t see his eyes. Did they even have eyes? Hard to tell with all that fur. “You shouldn’t move, you have a few broken ribs and your arm isn’t much better.”
“But…” What about the others? And Farren? He hasn’t seen him since they got separated during the attack. And what happened to Sorbet? “My partner, what happened to him?”
“Partner?” The deino frowned.
“A zorua… with goggles. About this si-“ he lifted his paw to show the other’s size and that was he noticed. The stubby little cyndaquil paw, it wasn’t there anymore. In its place were bigger clawed paws. What? He felt around at his own head. His nose was shorter and he had short triangular ears.
“-okay?” the darumaka was saying something, Cass looked up at him with wide eyes.
“I’m a- a qu-quilava?” Wow no, how? A weakling like him? A quilava? Absurd.
“Well duh, silly!” the darumaka said, giggling.
“Kid, maybe we should let him sleep a bit.” Kid pouted, looking back at the deino.
“Aww, but Chibi.”
“W-wait! I have to find F-farren.” He made to get up but his legs were quick to give out under the weight of his own body and he fell back on the ground with a pained moan. “Ughn.”
The deino was already at the entrance of the cave, another door he hasn’t noticed before. “I’ll find him, if he’s still out there.” He grinned. “Just rest now, okay? You look like crap.”
