Thanks -and FYI yes "anatomically" is a word .

That elephant is a bit further down the "to do" list, but when I'm able, I'll get it done.
I've had one other piece "on the go" that's only been partially coloured for almost a year now.
(I don't know about you, but I'm more of a sketcher & I really have to be in the right frame of mind to work in colour.)

All those pics will have to wait till my hands are a bit better though - my mitts is just too sore to be doing the more realistic work. I'm still trying to do some of my cartooning, but sadly I can see this problem is even effecting them.

It's next to impossible to get smooth, flowing lines when ya can't grip the pencil hard enough to stop it from sliding out of yer grasp...
or yer hand gets a sudden bad case of the Herky-jerky-jitters.

It's like seeing a painting that started off as a Robert Bateman
and ended as a "trunk painting" by one of those zoo elephants.

Anyway, I will get this done...sometime.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your hands, mine get a little arthritic at times, which ruins it for me as I like to draw as highly detailed as I possibly can!

I've got bits like you that are unfinished, have been for some time and probably will be for some time to come!!

Keep at it, as I will do too!!
