Orbot and Cubot are just the most perfect dysfunctional robot mommy/daddies. I can just see them being treated and viewed exactly like parents by the little bundle of joy they were suddenly thrown with.

The idea is really cool and I think it's adorable seeing Eggman actually legitimately turn out caring about Chris like a father despite him not having him for that purpose.

Thanks! Yeah, even in Sonic X Eggman was shown to eventually grow fond of Chris in a way that would almost seem paternal. More like tough-love caring, or like a parent who wants their kid to see their potential, but fond none the less. So it made me wonder how things would have turn out if the circumstances were different.

He was even happy when Decoe and Bocoe returned to him near the end of season two. I can just see Eggman, the robots, and Chris, being one big dysfunctional family together, with Chris being the straight-man out of all of them. Haha!

Yeah I know right?  Japanese Sonic X is amazing.  Definitely the best Anime based off of a video game in my honest opinion.  ^^

Yeah. It's not perfect, but it's actually one of the more faithful video game adaptions in general at that, despite certain changes(which I honestly thought was for the better, when it came to Amy being replaced with giving Shadow the talk, anyway).

well he looks adorable either way! you did a fine job.

But it makes you wonder, i mean Chris DOES have the same hair as Eggman. It could be that he is a distant relative. That and the fact that he's a builder. Now if that were true in the series, i bet Chris wouldn't have been hated so much.

I for one like him.

Somebody brought up how there's only a twelve year age gap between Chuck, and Chris' father, Nelson. Very unlikely that Chuck was even able to become a father at the age of twelve. So the option of adoption is definitely a possibility.

I like him, too, unlike the majority of the fandom. I didn't think very much of him, when I first started watching Sonic X, but he eventually grew on me.

An alternate universe/AU version of Chris(from Sonic X). Basically, Eggman cloned himself, with the intention of gaining a future heir- using a method like this. [link] (just replace the surrogate mother's silhouette with a very advanced machine that serves the same purpose) But while the two are genetically the same person- identity wise they're different people. And in this universe, his first name is actually Ovi, while his middle name is Christopher- they just normally refer to him as Chris, since it's a very common name, and far less likely to raise any brows from outsiders or enemies.

Thanks! X3 And since Eggman and Chris are genetically the same, I also have fun with looking at it as a way of how circumstances, and an environment, can determine somebody's outcome.
