deviantART @ AnimeExpo 2008 poster design contestso this is my entry :3 people sometimes cosplay at expos so she's wearing cat ears X3
All the colours on her clothes, on the flag and the background are from a screenshot of v6 and I removed the dot off the top of the i in deviant so it's like the logo and the red is there just to brighten it up because it's supposed to be a poster. the dA logos are traced from the screenshot.
Her hair took ages
and the full view on this is exactly 3 times smaller than the size I drew it at so the original is really big and linearting it took 2 days alone! big thanks to my dad for pointing out all my mistakes in the drawing along the way X3;;

I especially admire the colors and shadings, especially on the folds and flags. The color combinations make it very clean & fresh, great work & good luck as well

I really like her hair and you did an awsome job on her clothes.
Her neck looks kind of awkward though. It looks like it goes straight up, but shouldn't it be at a slight angle like the rest of her body? Especially with her head positioned like that? The hand holding the pole also looks odd. There isn't much variation to the finger langth and when I imagen the pole not being there it seems like it might be too short and chubby. (I think that's the word I want. . .

Thank you! :3 for the hand it really wasn't going very well and the more I did to it the worse it got so in the end I had to leave it like that or it would have been worse X3;; I'll have to practice drawing hands that are holding things I think :3 for the neck I think it's right... it didn't look very good in any other position so I went with what looked best
