With that said, I can begin the deviation description.

In case you couldn't tell, I like a bit of hurt-comfort.
And another thing... WHAT KIND OF SUPER MUTATED CREATURE COULD DO THAT TO THE GUARDIAN OF METAL?!
...Ahem.

So yeah, Eddie and an unconscious, injured Ozzy.
I took one look at the way I did Eddie's face and said... "I am the BOSS!"

Edit: Now with a story.

“Ozzy!” Eddie called, hacking his way through the horde of demons, clearing them away from the fallen Guardian of Metal. Looking around for more demons and finding none, he knelt by the black-clad emissary’s side and gathered his limp form partially onto his lap.
“Ozzy?”
The Guardian had been fairly heavily injured in preventing the demons’ attack on the Thunderhorn. He had taken several large cuts to his chest and abdomen from the Soul Kissers, and fresh blood soaked into Eddie’s jeans.
“Nice of him to come and help,” said a voice, accompanied by the rumble of two engines.
The Kill Master and one of his men had driven up on their Thunderhogs and started to play, or, at least the Kill Master had.
“But can’t he come back from the dead?” said the other healer.
Eddie glared. “Just because he can come back, doesn’t mean he likes to die.”
“Oh,” the other healer said, and began to play.
It wasn’t too long before Eddie felt the Guardian stirring weakly in his arms. Behind the round sunglasses, his eyes opened slightly. He gave a weak smile.
“Hi, Riggs,” he whispered.
“Hey, Ozzy. You okay?”
“Yeah. Thanks for not letting me die.”
“You’re welcome, Oz,” said Eddie with a smile.
“ ‘M tired,” said the Guardian, and he slipped back into unconsciousness.
Eddie looked down at his sleeping friend and smiled.
He was going to be just fine.
