I've been working on this for God knows how long. Not in the sense of nonstop work, but after that mess I wrote about in my journal, I lost inspiration to finish it. Well, I slapped myself, and just finished it right now. So there we go. Did the tree and the hair for the past 2 hours. Done done done. I think it's pretty, even though I could have drawn the actual picture better now.This image is a remake remix of a piece that I drew... almost 4/5 years ago if I count it correctly. I'm leaning on 4.
But, I would definitely call it an improvement on the picture. Even though I still suck at skeletons. I hate not having any proper references for skeletons. Everything here had no reference (besides an old crappy drawing, I guess)

Good work Shannon! you are really learning to get a feel for composition.
Skeletal reaferance photos would be a good place to start, try looking up human anatomy on google. or swing by my house and just pick some up.
Shadows could use some work,and don't be afraid to push those contrasts!
Oh and Contrast saturation very well, the whole piece is very vibrant and great, but you could make it look even more so by dersaturating objects in the distance. Thats a quick way to really punch the background into the background and make the foreground really Pop!

thank you; I would have worked on this a lot more, but with the computer and photoshop issues I was having at the time, the sooner I could get as much as I could done, the better. I lost interest in the piece quickly, although I am still pretty fond of it. And since, I've gotten an anatomy book, so if i ever feel like going back to it (not likely), or doing something like it to trump it in the future, I know that I can

I want to... but everything I've been doing recently has been on normal paper, and I don't have any way of bringing it into the computer
