Sally was always such a spiteful little girl, always cooking up some kind of revenge scheme on those she dislikes (that would be almost everyone she knew). When she got possessed, or influenced in her case, she gained a boost in power. She uses this new strength to wield a massive butcher knife and move at blinding speeds.

The Spite is a Shadow Demon that feeds on the hatred that poisons Sally's suggestions, making her easier to manipulate. When the victim is ripe with enough hate, he drains the victim like a vampire would.
