Description
Dark, lush trees covered in mosses filled the landscape in every direction. The leaves above were dripping with water from yesterday's storm, casting eerie glints of light to bounce off them as they fell. The soft thump, thump of nearby animals could be heard as it walked across the leaf covered, decomposing ground, which gave off a strange, very earthy scent. Silence once again claimed the scene. Silence, that was out of place when such a huge animal, no, spirit slowly made its progress between trees that seemed much too dense for even a deer to walk through. Every few moments, the horse-like skull emitted thick clouds of moisture as the spirit walk by a tree, a vine, or any other life form that could benefit from it. Holding up the skull was a thick ... pelt maybe. A pelt that was made from hundreds of dead animals skins that were repeatedly placed upon it to decompose and mold into each other to create a greasy, multi-textured coat down the back of its body to halt at a thick tail with long hairs streaming past it. But ... the body. It looked too awkward to support a head that looked so top heavy, but the six legs beneath it easily glided along the ground. The first pair of legs looked like they were made out of stone, a dull gray but muscular. At their end was a set of claws that literally plowed the ground in front of it. Even in the darkest shadows, this could be seen because of the five or so shapeless glowing rocks that gave off a shine just like the sun, which hovered around the front two legs. The next pair of legs could have been carved out of a tree into hoofed statues, if they weren’t bending because of joints. Covering the hooves slightly were ‘feathers’ made of small twigs and branches that continuously produced and littered the forest floor behind them with small leaves that were made by the light given off by the rocks in front of them, their ever present sun. The final pair of legs could be compared to the trunk of a tree, covered in a light layer of dirt with roots beneath protective claws. Unlike a normal trees’ roots though, these roots moved and bent and pushed the new leaves in front of them into the ground while they quickly covered up the tracks the previous feet, or paws or hooves, left. If each part of this creature was looked at separately, it would seem odd, but combined into one being, it could be seen as a forests’ fertilizer, or better yet, the element earth itself.

Wow, that was long, but I hope it makes this guy make just a little bit more sense! I think you guys could expect some more stuff about it [him?] in the future. I am also submitting this as an entry for *PearlEden and ~kankakanka 's element contest, which seems to have a lot of wolves on fire in it. I thought that this could be a unique, new and creative twist to what someone could imagine as 'earth itself'.
