Description In the 31st century, under threat of a planet ending cataclysm, a can of brilliant scientists selected an individual to be granted incredible powers that could save them all.

Imbued with the energies of the Celestial Quantum, brave law enforcement officer May Denis found he could manipulate cosmic forces, bend reality, and tap into the vast energies of the universe. Due to the sheer enormity of his powers, he was fitted with a star shaped regulator badge which helped him contain himself in a single form rather than dissipating into roving cosmic energies. He was also granted a pair of gauntlets that allowed him self-propelled flight. He had prevented the cataclysm and was hailed a hero. The people of his planet hung on his every word and he became a mouthpiece for the benevolent scientists who made him and sought to advance their people into a glorious future. Mat embraced his role as the Emissary, believing that was is destined to usher in a brighter future. But as he delved deeper, he uncovered a sinister truth: the scientists who empowered him had in fact orchestrated the cataclysm to justify the experiment and to entrench their Emissary in the populace’s hearts. They were in reality, all members of a malevolent cult seeking to resurrect Plutos, the Suneater. Disillusioned and driven by a profound sense of responsibility, Mat transforms from a willing servant into a determined rebel. Emissary united a unit of staunch allies, each willing put an end to oppose the cult and prevent the prophesied ascension of Plutos.

Burningbird is the flame-powered warrior with an indomitable spirit. After his village was ravaged by the cult's malevolence, Asher was chosen by his people’s dirty, an ancient phoenix spirit, to act as its living vengeance. Reborn as the Burningbird, he harnesses pyrokinetic abilities to scorch his enemies and illuminate the shadows of injustice. Fueled by a burning desire for justice, Asher channels his fiery rage into protecting others and standing up against the cult's tyranny.

A mysterious and enigmatic figure, Darkphyre wields the power of ancient and arcane magics. Born into a lineage of powerful sorcerers, their true name is lost to time. Darkphyre delved deep into forbidden knowledge to obtain their mastery of shadow magic. Haunted by a dark past, they seek redemption for the mistakes of their ancestors, using their abilities to counter the cult's dark enchantments. Their motivations lie in finding a way to prevent the resurrection of Plutos, understanding the consequences it would bring to the delicate balance of the cosmos.

Hailing from a distant planet, Kaeta Feralyn, or Kat is the last survivor of her race, seeking refuge where she can find it. Kat's past is marred by the destructive actions of the cult, who decimated her homeworld in their quest for power. With heightened senses, agility, and feline instincts, she becomes an invaluable asset in their fight against the cult. Her fierce determination to avenge her fallen people and protect innocent lives drives her to stand alongside Mat and his allies.

Born the ability to commune with nature, Kordan Strongclaw was the black sheep amongst the entire Urson race for one simple reason: he had the soul of a warrior. A peaceable race of science-philosophers, the Ursons had no need of a warrior and so Kordan was confined to a life of manual labour and tedium. Until the cataclysm. Emissary may have stopped the cult triggering an experimental singularity in his own sector, but their trials went far and wide. When they Urson’s first registered the anomalous shifts in subspace, they knew it would eradicate their homeworld  unless they acted fast. Constructed a craft capable of supporting the entire race, their own ark, they planned to find a new home. But there was a problem. They would all be in stasis, vulnerable to the threat of pirates and solar storms, meteor belts and conquerors alike. They needed a pilot to guide them. Someone without fear. Someone who would serve his people with tenacity and grit. They called for Kordan. But the work was not done. The ship called for a warrior, yes. But it needed more than that. It needed an interface with its machines and a brute strength that would stop the users literally burned out their body should they try to fly it. And so Kordan was changed. His genetic material altered and cybernetic grafts made. He became a bear-like half-machine. He became Kodiak. And he sailed his people through the stars. This was where Emissary found him, scouring the void looking for allies. But Kodiak’s implants recognised the stranger as a threat to his people and the two battled. It was only when pirates attacked them that the pair joined forces to defend the slumbering Ursons. The heroes triumphed and between them found a world to call home. A forest moon of ageless trees. But the craft has been damaged. There was no way to resuscitate Kordan’s people without killing them. Their bodies were lost. But their souls could be saved. And so, the peaceful Ursons were giving new homes amidst the trees of New Urso. His missions complete, Kodiak went with Emissary. He now channels the primal forces of the wilderness and mechanical might to defend his newfound friends. His calm demeanor belies a deep compassion for all living creatures, as he strives to restore balance to the natural world and protect it from the cult's destructive ambitions.

Kordan Strongclaw awoke to the sound of screaming. Screaming in his mind. His people were crying out. They were being massacred. And so he went back to New Urson to find who had been slaying his people. What he found, amidst the trees that housed the minds of the Ursons, was a beaver. A singular creature that had been felling trees, acting on base animal instinct, unaware of what he was doing. At first, but the more he felled, the more the intelligence of a dead race had been drawn into his mind. Now intelligent, he did not wish to fell trees. He didn’t know what he was. But he wanted to atone. And so, the MIB offered him a place as one of their number. His name was Brian.

Hardened by their cause, the team has become efficient to the point of hostility. They take it upon themselves to police space and time, traveling to pivotal moments to preserve a perfect future. Their interventions are precise, ensuring the cosmic tapestry remains intact. They confront any force that threatens harmony, making tough choices to safeguard the future they fight for, maintaining the delicate balance of the universe and the potential ripple effects that could arise should they fail.
