Gex actually isn't bad like what the general consensus likes to believe. Truth be told, his games sold 15,000,000 units in his lifetime, Gex 3 when starting out sold 4,000,000 copies, and eventually 6,000,000. Retrosanctuary.com's Top 100 PlayStation Games, Gex Enter The Gecko ranked at 98th Place. Heck, even THIS: www.the-spoiler.com/ACTION/Cry… has been up since 1998.

I remember playing the Gex series as a kid, especially the second one. I really wish they would make a reboot of this series to bring the nostalgia back.
