It's been a while since I posted a coloring page I made, and now that most of them are available on my website for download (check it out ) I wanted to post some of my coloring experiments. This one was a test to see how well the coloring page would withstand watercolors. I printed out my design on medium weight card stock and put a watercolor wash over the entire design, then painted in the little sun designs once that dried. There was hardly any bleed, so I am comfortable recommending card stock and other thick paper for printing the design if you would like to color it using watercolors or other paints.

The original drawing was done with pigment liners on medium weight artist paper. You can download this pattern here for $2. You will get a portrait format 300 dpi JPEG file as a blank pattern, without the coloring sample and digital signature. The image is available for personal use only and may not be used for resale or other commercial purposes. If you post your finished page to your website or social media, please provide appropriate credit.
