So far I have seriously loved your work. The lighting is wonderful, and I think the model just looks all the more gorgeous with the quality of the photographer. ^_^ I wish I had this kind of talent, I love photography, but I can't seem to make mine look so artistic.

Great shot Thea! There's this minimalist feel to it. That frame at the left hand corner makes all the difference I think. Of course Mina is SO beautiful too!

uh you can manually focus your images and adjust the DOF through aperature settings. It comes with every DSLR

I really suck on that. My photographs are coincidential. the only thing i adjust is the shutter speed. and the aperture... i try hard on adjusting the apertures when i have a dslr in my hand but then, i really dont know the principles. Guess i have to buy books about it. i dont want to enroll myself in a school for photography or what. Photography could just be taken by looking and learning outside school. Right?

Haha, I wasn't taught professionally, but I did take art for like 6+ years. DSLR's are probably the most user-friendly out of all the other camera formats. ooerr I'm pretty sure you probably know this but if you decrease the aperture the higher your DOF is

I am about to use a digicam Olympus made i dont know what model but the MP im sure is high. But what i really want is a dslr or a semi-dslr camera.. eventhough i dont still have that much idea on adjusting. it comes on learning and on practical, i guess. Thanks for the advice! that would help me a lot... really. you know what, i just adjust the apertures, shutter speed, and eventually, by randomly adjusting them, i coincidentially get a good picture. I don't know...that's when I use a dslr or when i borrow from someone.
