This has always been my most favorite monument ever. Because I completely feel like this on a daily basis. So fucking hopeless. I've asked my husband, who is a fabulous artist, who can compose a picture with such detail you almost forget it's a drawing and not real, to draw this for me, and in the background have images of war and death and lost children and famine and all the horrors in the world... I've asked him for 5 years, and he won't do it. I don't know why.
