This is sweet, in a dystopian sort of way.

Mario's taking after his not-so-handsome look-alike.

What I'm wondering is whether Mario is the cause, or the solution to her grief. It seems the support role, so who dumped her? Luigi?

In her search for her shining knight in armor to fulfill her desire to obtain the luxurious life she longs for, the very unobtainable dream that creates her own depression, Peach doesn't realize that this short, fat plumber is something far more valuable: someone who genuinely cares about her in a city shrouded in cynicism.
Sometimes, Peach's depression really gets to her, and Mario's there to wipe her tears.
Luigi has a crush on Daisy, but he simply doesn't have the balls to even talk to her.

Thank you. I was worried that there was no story to this.

There's a story behind everything, sometimes, a picture is worth a thousand words.

That is deep. And I like it a lot.

That's the good thing of well developed characters. They practically write themselves.

While I already completed the script, in which Mario wouldn't appear, I'm reconsidering it, so my answer is "maybe".

Im really like the direction that the comic is going, with Daisy being badass and such.If the relationship with Luigi and her appear in the comic i bet it woul be f@cking funny as hell. But this isnΒ΄t a sugestion man, just a fan speaking.Just keep making the comic as you want it and ill sure will read it.
Sorry about crappy englih.

No, I will not explore the relationship between Daisy and Luigi in this comic. There's this thing with female protagonist and the tired premise of "will they find their dream man?". I tried to write the comic in a way that it becomes gender neutral as with stories with male protagonists. This means that love and relationships can be a plot point, but it shouldn't dominate the story (and I'm pretty sure you didn't want your comment to suggest the latter).
Nonetheless, I do see it as comedy potential and I may explore it in a one-shot sometime.

Hmm...will ol' Mario be making any appearances in the series proper, or is this just a one-shot? Either way, nicely done - I'm a bit of a sucker for "realistic" depictions of Mario.

No, I had a few plot bunnies involving Mario being some kind of Deux Ex Machina in the sense of "Mario saves the princess", but I found that the underlying message implies that women need a man whenever they're in trouble. One of the strong points of T3NSP is that it's written as if the main characters are male, with a feminine touch, of course.
So in a way, this was a nice excuse to include Mario in the Rothingham universe without putting him in T3NSP.
